CIPE- Consortium for the Improvement of Professional Education
Charge: The Consortium group meets quarterly to provide input and insights in response to the college’s academic programming content and context in light of both the professional needs of the local and regional community and the changing disciplinary and legislative landscape. Additionally, this group is instrumental in monitoring the currency and relevance of programmatic updates and changes to the community landscape. The purpose of the consortium is to bring together the various constituencies of the College of Education to mutually discuss the design, evaluation, and recommendations for improving the professional education programs at the University of Oregon. The consortium plays an integral role in the accreditation and review process of the College of Education and its academic and licensure programs.
Membership: The Consortium is committed to a membership that reflects the diverse population of Lane County and is composed of TSPC Licensure Program Directors, Academic Affairs, Academic Operations, Accreditation, Students, Local Cooperating Professionals, and K12 leaders.
