Charge: The COE Curriculum Committee is a regularly appointed group of faculty who meet each quarter to review proposals submitted by faculty and staff in pursuit of academic changes or additions to courses, program plans, or programs in the UO COE. This group meets to review the soundness, quality, process, disciplinary integrity, and academic rigor of each proposal according to COE, disciplinary, and academic standards. This group consults policy, administrative and academic resources, and solicits additional information to review proposals. Approved proposals are forwarded to the UO Curriculum Committee and/or the Graduate Council for additional review and to ensure adherence to University standards. The COE CC is chaired by appointed faculty within an academic leadership position and is overseen by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Membership: Two Faculty Members are nominated and/or self-nominated within each Department and serve 3-year terms.
