Charge: The DEI Committee is a group of volunteer and nominated faculty and staff who meet monthly to review issues and needs related to DEI in the COE. This group reviews proposals and submitted concerns from individual programs, as well as items routed through other meeting groups in the UOCOE. This group reviews submitted items with a focus on climate, identity, consistency, equity, and social justice and provides a review of potential strengths and weaknesses for consideration. This group reviews reports and other content with an emphasis on achieving and maintaining a flourishing and thriving COE climate across COE community members (faculty, staff, and students).

Membership: Administration, DEI, DEI committee term members.

Schedule: The DEI Committee meets once monthly.
